CLIMB THE GOOD TREE

Our logo includes the Adinkra symbol WOFORO DUA PAA. This symbol represents the Ghanaian phrase: “it is when you climb a good tree that you get a push.” It is a symbol of support for good causes and represents the sense of bringing individuals together to be part of a collective movement that impacts their own lives, as they change the world around them.

Fundamental to Be Moved is giving people the opportunity to come and climb the trees with us.

WHAT IS THE GOOD TREE?

Global warming is fast reaching a point of no return, we have a limited time to take action to turn the tide against an unsustainable planet and an even more severe extinction crisis. We need to be moved to take action now to have a planet to hand over to an environmentally conscious and connected generation. We must inspire the future and be proud of the legacy we pass on.

MEET THE TEAM

Lance has captured springbok by hand, been up at 3am to track a wild dog pack, and assisted with a white lion that had scurvy. He’s had a cheetah appear a few metres behind him while photographing game capture in action, and played footsie footsie with a rhino. He reckons assisting with conservation work is pretty cool and thinks you’d like it. He also does a bit of running, swimming, paddling and hiking…and loves a beer after. He thinks there are a few people who would like that too.

Kirsten Weir brings 25 years of experience in the event and travel industry, with strong operational skills & attention to detail.

A passion for both the finer touches from her time at Thornybush game reserve and numerous corporate gala events, as well as hands on infrastructure operations through to launching of the ROOT 44 Market. Kirsten makes sure things get done as they should when they should.
