INSPIRE THE FUTURE

This was our first promotional video to share our plans to:

Support community heroes
Tell their inspirational stories
Develop the paths for others to follow in their footsteps

THE FIRST STEP

With the support of Lance’s friends and family, and the Tuesday Trails community and their Pint for a Purpose initiative with Jack Black – we took the first steps to Inspiring The Future.

THE WORLD NEEDS...

  • large, protected biodiverse areas to protect the planet from global warming and species extinction – supported by broad and robust economic beneift models that extent beyond conservation and tourism.
  • young people to connect deeply to their natural world and to live with it not purely from it.
  • a generation that is ready for the world that awaits them, with a strong foundation in new technologies and approaches to problem solving that have evolved significantly from those of the generation before them.

TIME TO INSPIRE

Four students won a writing competition earning them the chance to assist on a rhino collaring procedure, and the incredible experience of a helicopter flight over the reserve. This experience is the seed of the campaign to:

  • build and equip computer labs at the schools, supportted by extra curricular maths and science prohrammes – building a path towards coding learnerships and bursaries

GOOD STORIES AND PATHS OF OPPORTUNITY

Siseko Mayinje is a great example of a local community member who has taken advantage of the opportunities presented to him, and can now inspire future generations.  Inspire the Future sets out to tell these good stories and develop new opportunities, that show and prepare the way for those following in his footsteps.

BE PART OF THE INITIATIVE

If you would like to get involved in Inspire the Future – coming on a conservation experience, partnering with us or even working at Be Moved…send us an email.  We’d love to chat.
