RHINO & RESTORATION CHALLENGE AND PHOTO COMPETITION FUNDING TRAINING OF RHINO RANGERS

The Be Moved Collective hosted the Rhino & Restoration Challenge and Photo competition from June – August 2022 to raise funds to support conservation efforts in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. A range of initiatives are being driven to support conservation between the Addo Elephant National Park and the Great Fish Nature Reserve. Protecting the wildlife on the reserves remains an expensive priority and we are pleased to be able to assist to broaden the reach of wildlife protection, especially rhino – and one with the socio-economic benefit of preparing local community members for employment as Custodians of these treasured beasts from the days of dinosaurs.

Thanks goes especially to the Tuesday Trails Community in Cape Town and their #pintforapurpose fund that contributed so generously, as well as be Moved’s partners who provded prizes: Amakhala Game Reserve, Warwick Wines, Jack Black, Ultra Trail Cape Town, Ultra Trail Comrades, Skyrun, Maxi Race Winelands and Sani Stagger.
